Root (2021)
There is a desire in all of us to discover who we are and to put down deep roots in the place where we stand. We retrace the paths we have taken and look back at the uncertain footsteps we have left behind, yet still remain unsure of who we truly are.
By drawing a parallel between a plant taking root in solid ground and a person searching for a place to belong, Root explores the inner confusion and anxiety encountered throughout the journey of life, as well as the emptiness and transience of an existence that ultimately comes to an end in death.
